From 50's to 90 n the blink of an eye? Weird & whacky. And the kind of weather that makes you sick too.

Allergies are trying to kick my rear end right now, so I wouldn't know if I got sick or not. I normally don't get sick from drastic weather changes though, so I should be good. We've already had 2 days in the 90s, and for it to be in the 50s is a shock, for sure! Better than my Dad's house in Oregon though. He had freezing temps twice last week. Had to break the ice out of the bird baths both times.

Natalie: As far as the EDL (enhanced driver's license) goes, you need to put pressure on your Senators and Congressmen/women to push for this type of license through for your state. I don't see why Idaho couldn't get a similar EDL since you also border Canada. Your state legislature would have to start the ball rolling.

As far as all that cold weather you are experiencing, which is crazy at this time of year, some of that weather is coming east. Beginning on Thursday thru Saturday here in VT, daytime temps will dip into the low 70's, but it's the nighttime temps that will bring the chill. Suppose to get down into the high 40's at night (48 degs). Time to get out the down comforter again. Thumbs down

We had to put the heavy comforter back on our bed too, Alex. It has been in the upper 40s at night, but is heading for low 40s to 40 degrees for a couple of nights. I like it when it is cold at night. I sleep much better.

Thanks for the info on the license. I'll see what I can do!

Okay you two, BLOW! Huff & puff & blow that air down here. I would LOVE 40's & 70's right about now. We're looking at 92 today & I bet it gets higher than that. Thumbs down

We have the enhanced license here in Michigan because we are so close to Canada. The bridge and tunnel to Canada are only 12 miles from me. I don't have one myself but my daughter does.

Would never happen here. The Texas/Mexico border issue is too hot and controversial.

I think we have it in NY also. I just don't pay attention cause I never go anywhere anyway. My idea of a big outing is a trip 20 minutes away to my favorite big nursery and to Home Depot. I think it is a great idea though. As a younger woman I had gone to Canada many times. Have never been to Mexico though. Too hot there I think!

Sunny and warm and humid here today.

My garden is thriving. My veggies are growing and I noticed my pole beans have already started to climb. Tomato plants are doing awesome. I saw a small eggplant set on one of my plants. My zucchini have finially having female blossoms I hope they set. Tired of the male blossoms only.

I'm in Salt Lake this week and it is COLD today. Rainy too which is a blessing but its a shock to my thin Florida blood.

Daylilies I planted in late April seem to have hardly grown at all! Must have been too cold for them too. Same ones I put in my garden in FL have finished blooming already. Rolling my eyes.

Linda, my son called this morning from Salt Lake and said it was raining there and cold. So, the weather I sent is on its way. It just hasn't arrived yet. Big Grin

@dyzzypyxxy Elaine, if you planted daylilies in Salt Lake this year, I'd be surprised if they bloomed this year. It's still a little early there for daylily season. Mine never bloomed before July 4th, other than a ditch lily one year, and most of them that I planted new took at least a year to settle in before blooming.

Cold and raining again here. My DH has lost his mind. He actually turned the heater on a few minutes ago because he was freezing. I told him to put a coat on instead. Hilarious!
