Good to know, thank you!

This here is my Utah feral iris--I found some growing with the sagebrush in the foothills where I walk my dogs, probably an old home site circa 1920's but wild now--
Yes, I stole a couple withered old rhizomes and put them in my garden--they went gangbusters immediately and now I have two huge clumps that get about three times taller and bloom 100% more than their buddies in the sagebrush (which I have only seen have three blooms, once, a few years ago).

buds are blue, and they unfurl as blue with a definite pink in the center

then fade to near white within hours

These pics from a couple days ago--they were just starting to bust out all over--and now they are all looking pretty melted with this deluge of rain we're having (we need it though)

Happy with the rain here in Utah. Moderate rain all night and off an on most of the day. We really need it. Only a couple of rains soaked blooms today.

Dirtdorphins: Love your wild iris, and the fact that it changes color!

Tremors bloomed today. The SDB is suppose to be 11 inches high but mine is all of 6 inches high.

I also have all four turtles now on my Ninja Turtles (for those who remember....). Three are here with Smart in the background.

Hi Mary Ann!
Nice to meet you Smiling
This is my first foray into the iris forum--most of mine (and I have waaaay too many of them) are unidentifiable legacy irises Hilarious! but at least they smell good Smiling
Here is another one of the 'rescue' that I meant to post before, but I selected the wrong thumbnail. I really wish that they would stay blue, Shrug! oh well, I still appreciate them
