Paul and other, amazing photos, and amazing collections. I have a few sdbs, and only 3 matched Paul's. So it's really amazing how many SDBs are out there. Overwhelming, actually.

Paul, you take fantastic pictures, and you have a fantastic collection. At first you thought this thread was going no where, but look at the interest you have sparked in the medians!

Thank you! Group hug

Let me show you about the overcrowding so you know exactly what I mean:

(I feel I am posting these pics in the wrong thread, but there are two flowers in that pic!) Quite a few of the irises are blooming, as you see. These irises have moved themselves into the gravel. The other side of it:

This is another part of the yard. The plant explosion around the irises surprised me. Those spring plant bulbs are everywhere in the soil.

Thanks for the kind comments Polly......It has been cold here the last few days so bloom has slowed down but will explode again when it warms up in the next couple of days. Here are some blooms from this morning,

Sheer Excitement is striking with the bright yellow beard and the sweet edge. My favorite thing about the dwarfs is how early they bloom.

Pwinget -- you've got enough blooms going on that you'd prolly be better off waiting to thin after the blooms are done. They all look very healthy, and will benefit from having more growing space per rhizome!!

Nice Susan. The picture of Leopard's Print reminds me a lot of My Cher.

Usually one divides 6 wks after bloom. Nice photos, everyone. We are finally seeing color on Spring Beacon. No pumila bloom which seems strange.

The blue iris above is really Leopard Print, not Leopard Spot. It does have spots when the weather is warmer.

Last year, my Leopard's print didn't have spots on the first couple blooms, but then they were spotted later.
