we're just now checking in.'long day. Inky dear, I'm such a klutz . Susie was tossing the duckies around and I thought she was tossing it out the door.... So I ran out the door, screen was closed. Hellllllllo! I felt SOOOOO bad. She said " no big deal"'and put the screen back in place.! Then the washer got on a weird cycle and wouldn't drain ( stand by for updates). I mean it's just one thing after another ... I'm on the iPhone so typos are EASY! sorry! Inky cN we do coffee in the morning dear? My panties are in a twist for all the BS going on today.

Lexie, are you helpig Susie wring out the laundry? It's easy! Just take one end and run in a circle, she will do the rest. We have had that same problem here.

Afternoon, Inky.
You look so, hmmmmm, shall we say, relaxed! I'm a little more relaxed too. I did help Susie wring out the wet sheets. Then we put them in the dryer and it did the magic. Just in time to go to bed after a little TV. Glad THAT's over! Ran a load of laundry today and no problem. Phew! No need to call for repair. $$$$

We're supposed to go for a walk in about 1/2 but it's a bit chilly. I know you may think we're wuss's here in AZ with our 'cold' weather... but it really IS cold! I may just sleep on the couch unless she insists we go to the mailbox.

Good Morning!
Well, Lexie and Susie have been together for 1 year yesterday. She celebrated with a 1/2 day at the water park at Second Home and killing a baby Starling who was hanging out in the yard.

She's had many, many fun days at the spa (Second Home Pet Resort here in Phoenix http://www.secondhomepetresort...)

She LOVES it there. We go twice a week for 1/2 day in the mornings so she can play in the "water park". She made many friends!

We also have been going to behavior and socialization training at AZ Dog Sports, http://www.azdogsports.com/. Working with Tino the Trainer. She adores him. She's getting much better with meeting new dogs ON LEASH. She's been leash aggressive since day one and when I was walking her on Feb. 13 she actually spontaneously ran after a dog on a lead in it's own yard with it's owner, pulled me to the ground. So it's been a challenge with the leash walks. Surprisingly she is GREAT playing with dogs, even 30, 40 or so at dog parks and Second Home.

Her birthday was Feb. 7 so she's nearly 5 1/2 yrs old.

Sweet Lexie is learning how to be a great dog for you! I love her so! Someday I want to go to the water day with you so I can watch, Susie!

Brenda, I saw the post about the cold weather you're having up there. And that wind!? Is the gazebo recoverable? Hope so. And your poor plants. I hope they don't freeze. However! I must share that once in San Francisco we had a Spring freeze and my snaps just melted into the ground. Within weeks they came back VERY strong, lush and abundant. Better than if there had not been a freeze, I believe. So, don't pull anything up if it appears it's a lost cause! Be a good patient gardener!

Sweet picture! Tony and I just finished rebuilding the gazebo. You wouldn't have thought that it could have been recoverable. Luckily, Tony is pretty good with bending metal back into place. It was twisted and bent and a total mess. He got it back to good! Happily, the plants didn't freeze... I think it was just barely above freezing. The winds have calmed down now (knocking on wood). I'll post pics tomorrow on facebook of the gazebo, I have to head in to work soon.
