Despite the mites it is still pretty!
Looking good, Tarev!
I am in the process of taking my hardy Water Lilies apart, what a messy thing to do. They didn't show any signs of being alive, so I had to take a look what this harsh Winter did to them. Not so good at all. I might be able to save a couple of pieces, but most of it is simply smelly mush. Cleaning up some pieces and then get some topsoil and repot and cross fingers.

and the Iwanagaara is just lovely as well. Mine is in the quarantine ward recovering (I hope) from a case of scale.
Took some more pictures in the low light this evening, and they show the colors on my Volcano Queen a lot better. It's not really pink at all . . the camera just makes it look that way. Mauve with purple on the lip. Also a couple of my most constant bloomer (aside from the Spathoglottis) Enc. Green Hornet

regarding scale -
This year I have been using horticultural oil ( Four Season) during the whole indoor season to keep the scale down. I spot-sprayed and rinsed the whole thing a short while later.
Now outside all get the Bayer's triple stuff treatment before I place them into the cage. We had yesterday evening a strong thunderstorm coming through, so everything looks scrubbed today.
next to move outside - Bulbos, Coelogynes, Vandas and the rest.
Everyone should have a Green Hornet as it blooms forever. I agree, much better color on your pretty Volcano Queen.
Three new ones out in the OC.
First is Phal. Guadalupe Pineda. I really like these kind of Phals.
Big George (Lc. George Baldwin X C. Trithena) is awake and has three new flowers. I took a picture of the plant in its 8-inch pot to give an idea of how big it is.
Finally, B. nodosa X C. netrasiri 'waxy' is just beginning to open. It will probably be better tomorrow.

All wonderful, but I am seriously in love with Big George. Such beautiful colors and what a gorgeous plant.
We went sailing today, and now that I have had a nap . . went out just as it was getting dark to find a fabulous fragrance out there under the big oak branch. My wonderful Enc. tampensis that Jim gave me over 2 years ago is in bloom! It has 5 spikes and there are dozens more flowers coming along. Third picture shows how the roots have reached out to grab onto the bark of the tree.
Thanks again, Jim. This plant is just wonderful for my garden.

Back from Pennsy where the Cyp acaule are most beautiful right now! But that is another post after taking a look what's in my camera.
Gorgeous blooms, Jim and Elaine!! Big George looks great and you do well with these types of Phals. Pretty 'Waxy' too!
