Good excuse don't you think? Add to that, lining out seedlings, which is going to take up some space, and add work to the load. Oh my, anyone need a job as a gardener????? I'll look for someone holding a sign that says, "I'll work for Irises". 
I was just looking at that black one you talked about on another thread on the Schreiners web page, I would have ordered it if they had Samba Queen to go with it, but since they didn't I didn't see anything else that I wanted. So they loose out. (lucky I don't remember the name of the black one now!) Forgetfullness is a good thing sometimes. Guess I have to start next year's list, like I haven't already. There's some I wanted to order from Sutton that no one else seems to have, so I have about 6 or 7 on the list already.
.I just got an e-mail today saying "We just got hold of ZZZ, and you asked about that one a few years ago, so I'm putting you down for one next year, after we grow a few more. OK?" What's a guy to do ?! 
. I've got about 10 I want to order from the HIPS sale, when it opens, and I'm waiting to see what Presby offers this year, but that should wind up my orders for the year! I think

Bless me Father, for I have sinned! Two more iris orders gone out, one to Schreiners, one to the Iris Sisters. But I was lead astray by pictures of Coal Seam and Samba Queen. You who have been my tempters and temptresses know who you are. Of course, one cannot just order one iris now can they? I've lost count of how many I have on order, and I don't have enough fingers and toes to figure that out. Well it's better if I don't know, right??? Just in case, I started yet another new bed yesterday. 
I am so hopeless, but I feel better now that I have come clean!
But I am seriously considering adding a couple of Species Cross to an order so I have two of each instead of one (Alley Oops & Roys Repeater).
