With Paradise Fish it is a good idea to keep several females to one male and LOTS of room and hiding spaces. Keeping this in mind one can have several males. This will even work for Bettas.

I agree, the Water lily is very pretty and so are the Bougainvilleas!

Right now a lot of the Spring bulbs are in bloom around here, especially in the borders in front of the house. I like the clumps of Ipheions. I am glad I took these pics yesterday, they didn't appreciate the 93 degr F today.

Coltsfoot, not exactly in my garden but it is trying as it is very invasive, never the less is cheery as it is one of the first plants to bloom here in the spring.

Great stuff, Ken! At first I thought you were here taking pics since I have scillas in my lawn and the very same Erica! (I think I'll check the tag for us.) I have a few primulas starting. It poured all day but I think the ones open are my blue like yours and Lois Lutz (brilliant cyclamen color).

The Scillas are almost done here. I like them too.
Colts Foot is always one of the first blooms of Spring at our place in Pennsy too. They are lining the road through the woods.

The bloodroots are opening in areas along our woodland roads here. I have a fabulous double that may be open although it's COLD and windy out there today!

Nice one! Mine is just starting to open! And the star is in peak. Very low battery today so I mostly took bulbs! I'll post soon.
