We got some at my Lowe's on Friday and I debated...
can you plant them out after they've bloomed?

Yesterday, I got around to planting a couple of new plants that I have acquired over the last couple of weeks. I finally located the silver/blue form of the Mediterranean (European) Fan Palms - (Chamaerops humilis). It's slow growing but cold hardy and very attractive. Its full potential is 12 feet or so and it is a clumper.

The second picture is a "Francis" variety of pomegranate. It was developed in this area and should do well for me. It will take down to 25 degrees when a bit more mature.

The west side of my pool enclosure is lined with Sweet Tea Olive (Osmanthus fragrans). They are in full bloom and the smell is wonderful.

Don't you just love Osmanthus fragrans? The fragrance is wonderful but not overwhelming.

Boojum looks cold and disgusted but I enjoy the winter views. Thanks for posting.

The temps went down to 42 degrees last night but I left everything in place. It's just too much work for a one nighter. I hope I'm OK.

It's time for a little uplifting, spring is coming, garden show.

I'll start off with a dwarf azalea bush.
