Screamcicle does that to me - Screams LOOK AT ME! Very bright indeed. Glad to see you got Uncle Henry to bloom. Looks neat. South Seas has been around for awhile and with reason. I love mine too. Went to the daylily show last weekend and another orange caught my attention. Not the best picture of it, but it sure qualifies as bright to me. Called Jambalaya:

Fire King is a neon beacon. The first time it bloomed in a somewhat shaded spot I thought it was a hunter's cap that was lost in the bushes!
Muscle and Blood has very large, bright blooms.
Outrageous is always a standout.

I don't have time to post all the pictures here but recently enjoyed visiting Judy Davisson's garden. She grows a lot of brightly colored daylilies. My most recent blog was entirely on the subject of her daylilies with a lot of pictures. The link should appear at the bottom of this post. Hope you'll have a chance to visit. Also, I'm hoping to add a new blog today about one of the Convention tour gardens. Best wishes,

Julie C.

I recently visited your blog Julie as always your pictures are wonderful. The photos of Judy's garden just made me drool and want to get more of her daylilies. Almost all of her daylilies appeal to my eye, looking forward to adding more to my garden.

I have some Hostas like that. They all look different depending on how much sun they get. Mine get a lot. Green Grin!

This one is bright for a dark and very vigorous!! The clump is four times as big as the others and they were all double fans when I planted them last fall.
