Just browsed the thread again...
Jim, your landscape is divine! Love the bed with the grasses. They certainly filled in quickly! In the last pic...what is the Palm near the arbor? Gorgeous.
Kathy, love seeing your fantastic garden. The peonies are wonderful and your Sib collection so vast!

We FINALLY had a decent downpour today. It really was wonderful, as we are getting too dry again. I keep an eye on this site, as we have had a 10 year stretch of drought.
At the moment our county is out of drought or too dry conditions, but getting there.
This site shows drought conditions for the US:

Interesting. I see Miami is parched while Tampa Bay is fine.

I took a couple of pics today. This is interesting; my white hibiscus has begun to produce both pink and white flowers. Silly bush!

Makes me wish I had a little more sun. A nasty microburst two years ago took out a few trees so I have a bit of sun in one corner. I went crazy with lillies. I will post when in bloom.

I just reviewed a bit and noticed I missed Janice's question about the palm by the arbor. I assume you ment in the last picture of that series. It is a queen palm (Syagrus romanzoffiana). They are quite common around here. Here are a few more pics.
