kidfishing - If you decide to name and register Magic of Oz x Galaxy Explosion (I think you should!), it might be a good one for a southern garden, too, that does deal with rust fungus, though both of these parents are dormants, so might not last in a warmer climate. But it could also make a good rust resistant parent if crossed with a sev or ev daylily that also shows rust resistance! Can you tell I live in the south??? Rolling on the floor laughing

All you northern gardeners are so lucky not to have to deal with the rust problem!
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.

All of them are stunning! We really do need an ugly seedling thread, so that I would have somewhere to post pictures. Rolling on the floor laughing

Another great cross by Fred - do we have any into on "best edge sdlg"? I don't find the referenced line in registration - would love to learn more! Lovey dubby

Really beautiful seedlings, everyone! You must put me on the list for that first one, Fred -- it's a doozie!!! And the second looks wonderful too. I look forward to seeing more of that one in the future.

Tina, you haven't seen my seedlings. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I posted my blooms in the June Bloom thread yesterday. No seedlings here until at least next year.

Fred, you have amazing seedlings! Love the pink one that will be registered!

Natalie, you will never believe how much I value fellow "amateur" enthusiasts' work. Hold you head high, now ... your contribution, even if delayed until next year, will be such a welcome addition. Thumbs up Not all daylilies need to be marketed, or be laden with gold braid or broken peepers, to be the most awaited ... or even the most deeply admired. Group hug

Playing catch up.

Debra, I hated reading about all your seedlings in pots dying. That would be awful!

Lisa, really like that pink seedling.

Fred, love that second picture of HB17-13. Beautiful form.

kidfishing, love that cross from Dual Zone x seedling. Love the color.

Natalie, we are all anxiously waiting to see pictures of your seedlings next year and I bet you will have some real beauties!

Tina, you are nuts! And Vickie, I seriously doubt I'll be posting any seedling pictures, unless I start an ugly seedling thread! Rolling on the floor laughing I will never be able to compete with the beautiful seedlings posted here, but I'm totally fine with that. I don't grow the latest and greatest daylilies, so I'm not going to get anything new or incredible from my crosses. But, I'll be happy with some that I can stand to look at without my eyes being burned. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I think this is my favorite thread. I love seeing the possibilities, and especially love the sibling photos. It it amazing how different they can look!
