Thankyou, it is a fave of mine. It stands at 36". but is also sitting on a 36" tall bell shaped planter that is upside down. So a total of 72" on what your seeing. The picture was taken from the deck. I can try and take a better perspective picture from another angle if any one is interested.

They are so much fun. For anyone who is sitting on the fence about making some, they should jump in!!! It is minimal commitment compared to so many other garden adventures.

I took a few photos today of some of the pots I made. A friend of mine invited me to do a plant sale with her this weekend and this is some of the stuff I am bringing. These little hobbit house ones were a big hit last time. This is the first time I have done any in my own pots though.

Thank you everyone. Bev, talking about plants for hours and making a little cash sounds like a good time to me! My friend has a vast collection of aloes. I have five different kinds now and am not even really a huge fan of them but I might have to come home with a few. Time to make some more pots!

It has just now started to dry up a little here. We had 28 days of rain straight in may. Crazy bad weather to go along with that rain. So I have been unable to make any more lately. It's a shame because 28 days of rain would have been great for curing. I am going to get me a fresh bag of portland tomorrow. Hurray!

Love the shapes. It is getting too warm to do yard work in the afternoons so about time for me to buy a bag of cement & get more planters made.

Audrey those are pieces of art. I love the colors you painted them with. What did you use to get the shiny finish?

Have you made these in the heat yet? I was shocked at how fast this last batch set up. I thought it was way too fast. I thought they would crack but they are super strong.

Thankyou, I used outdoor rust-oleum for the green with an overlay of gold. My husband brought it home and I was super impressed with it. It was like painting with warm butter! I had never used that brand before other than spray paint.

With FL heat comes FL humidity so it takes longer to dry in Summer than Winter.

How did the sale go. They are crazy if they did not snap up your creations.
