These just arrived at the feeder. It is the only second time I have seen them here in nine years.
Little Corella.

Glen, Those Little Corellas are so pretty, I love that blue eye ring! I had to google and read about them because they reminded me of the Cockatoo and I see they are a subspecies.

The Australian Wood Duck is really a neat looking duck; very different from the Wood Duck we see here in the U.S. I took this photo a couple of years ago; a drake (male) wood duck perched on a neighbors roof. It's the one and only time I've ever seen them although everything I read says they are year-round residents.

Crow good. Does it have grey bases to the feathers? It looks like it. Ours have white.

@plantladylin Lin that hummer is the Ruby throat. It's the only kind I've have ever seen though they say seeing a Rufous is possible here but not very common. A couple from today.

Great shots Dave, looks like you are having fun with that new camera. My husband says he read that there is talk of Canon possibly coming out with a 100x zoom ... I can only imagine what that thing will cost but I know I'd love to have one with more power to get shots from a great distance! I too love the hummingbird on the branch as well as that one at the feeder that shows it's long bill. The only hummingbird I see here is the Ruby-throated too. I also really love the shot of the mockingbird! Also, what is the beautiful plant blooming beneath where the mocker is perched?

@plantladylin Lin that is an Oak Leaf Hydrangea. It blooms with a beautiful white flower in spring that gradually shades toward pink as the weather warms. Stays on a long time.

Lin, love that Downey Woodpecker with it's head cocked to the side! Great catch of the hummie too.

Ann: Thank you! I have the sound thingy turned on again on my camera and some of the birds crook their necks and look towards me when they hear the beep as I take their picture.

Just a couple of shots today and I finally got it in the right forum. The Margaritas were good this afternoon.
