Cajun was good, so yummy!

Unfortunately, the deer seem to have free run out there so I'm sure they will devour those morning glories. And I had such high hopes of beauty this summer. Shoot!

Hey everyone. Yes there is hope tractors are purring, daffodils are blooming, Japanese Magnolias, and red buds are all doing there Spring show. Soon they will have the school sale and I will be back in the coleus again. As amazing as it is I managed to save tiny toes this year. The mother plant has lots of shoots just waiting for me to make babies. I want to get on that tomorrow. Sandy is buying us two more Magnolias to go on this corner. After all it is the " Magnolia Way Home for Active Seniors" sometimes known as the "Garden Cafe". Open to Family and Friends on a just come on in basis. We add Magnolias every year. What fun. I love coleus and she loves everything. You never know what she will pop in with. Have a great day every one. Note to Brinda.....Busy Busy Busy and something to look forward too. It will help. shirleyt

Didn't we do that already? Confused
Do go by the big Flea Market at the Fair Grounds.
It's one of my favorites.
And be careful. Over half the drivers there are from North Carolina.

Sunny that flea market at the fair grounds is awesome! We were in Raleigh one weekend to go to the PBR when it was there. Went to that flea market on Saturday and ended up coming home with our dog. They used to have breeders there too and lots of puppies. I think the last time I was down that way they didn't have the area set aside for the critters anymore. That was always the most fun for me.

Hey folks!

Thought I'd check in and see what you guys are up to. My home page was getting so long that I unjoined some cubits. It was getting quite overwhelming. Then I realized that I didn't have to watch forums or threads. Just the cubits. So now I'm going around and rejoining cubits.

I've been working on a database for my Ancestry Cubit with a gal from the UK named Carol. We have entered about 150 family names so far and we're really glad that all of the family's that have been named have been entered. Looking at the listings that our members had put in was rather overwhelming, but we got 'er done! If you all haven't listed your families, please come check it out and tell us your family's names and where you have come from. Already we've had some folks connecting with other members.

It's tax season and I've been working on those as well, so haven't had much time to get out here and visit. Things are beginning to slow down and it's time to go whack down the ickies in the back yard and see what will come back. We had beautiful weather here today and I hope it stays warm like it was today. Makes it so much more pleasant to get out in the yard. Of course, in a few weeks, I'll be wishing for cooler weather again. Seems like we're never satisfied.

I hope all is well in the coleus world. Ill check back in later,

Janet

LOL I am laughing so hard!!!! So Shine, did you already set your clocks forward?

Shirley, my Sweet Shirleyt! I love hearing about your magnolias. I just love them and one day plan to have enough room to have many! I am having a blast this week. Our weather is finally so pretty outside, not that warm but still you can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and it makes me so happy. I am ready and I know you are too!!!! I so need coleus and plants in my life to make me happy.

I've been house hunting all week and my brain in exhausted. We went to see an unbelievable property on Tuesday and it has really peeked out interest. It has 10 acres and everything that we want. The only problem is the size... IT'S TOO BIG! And Kell thinks I have lost my mind, which is right but anyway I look at it, I really like this property. You can see the virtual tour here. http://homesite.obeo.com/viewe...

Juanita, what kind of dog did you get? Braden wants an Australian Shepherd and for some reason I remember talking with you about a puppy but now I can't remember what kind it was.

I have to get our NCFarms stuff done soon. (I have one spot open if anyone wants it) I didn't even realize it was already the 11th of March. I do this every year. I sit around and whine and then I realize spring has sprung without me.

I'm off to fix dinner! I'm actually a domestic goddess today. LOL Can you even believe it?

What a beautiful home Brinda! I can see that backyard with coleus all around. 10 acres is a lot of land! You could start your own coleus FARM! Big Grin

Take it one day at a time Brinda. Let the Lord lead you and you can't go wrong!

Wow, Brinda
That so reminds me of the homestead near Plainview, Texas. The sandstone, not the grandeur.
It is absolutely gorgeous.
The best part is it's built. Ready, done, no fights with contractors, no growing gray way before your time.
No having explicit directions ignored.
If it's too big, grow hay and have a farmer come plant and harvest it.
You can always sell it later.
They aren't making any more land.
Group hug

Brinda we got a husky lab mix. She will be 7 years old in a couple of weeks. I remember talking to Braden about the Australian Shepherd. Bob wants one of them too. Once we get done with all this traveling around thing, we will get another dog. Right now it is hard enough with one since my parents are getting up there a bit. They usually watch the dog, but my Mom has her hands full with my Dad and I hate to saddle her with the pets too.

Brinda you would not be happy there. Way to big too grandiose just too too too. Of course if you can afford it I just know you could get used to all those negatives. lol I loved it girl you go for it. But be aware you will never be able to fill that space with coleus. You could have a house warming and fly us all in. We will bring you coleus for your warm up. shirleyt

Sheesh... we have been blasted with a blizzard! And on the first day of spring no less. LOL

I bet everyone east of me is getting it now. It's ugly and it's huge! Stay warm...

Oh Shirley, that house is so beautiful. We've seen it twice but the problem with it is the guy that owns it must owe everyone in the country. Sadly it is set to go up for Sheriff's Sale in April.

Looking like rain here tomorrow. We were supposed to start mulch, but that looks like it is in jeopardy.
