Hurray! Mine show that they arrived and are out for delivery. I put a BIG note on my mailbox for her to bring them to the back porch. Someone that already received, take a picture for us that are waiting. I feel like I'm getting a box of gold.

Mine still look as fresh as the day they were delivered. I hope everyone's look as good!!!!

Thank you Brinda. I didn't know if I had asked you to or not. So, if I can't plant them today, what to do with them? I've been digging in the yard and my face is purple and I don't feel like going to get more potting soil. Maybe later I will. But, if I wait til tomorrow, will they be alright if I just open the box ?

Brinda said one time she wasn't ready so she poked holes in the bottom of butter containers, labeled the container, and put a ten cuttings in that one little 'make' do pot.
Like I believe Ms Brinda is ever not ready! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
I'm doing that today too. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
I did get mine about 10 minutes ago.
Thanks ever so much Brinda, (and Aunt Janice) Thumbs up

Debbie, a few years ago I had a huge Beckwith's Gem in a container. As always, my DH is moving stuff around and when he moved this container, the whole coleus broke off at the soil line. So I just tore it apart and made lots of cuttings with about half of it. The rest of it I tossed in the garbage (actually, at the garbage) and a few weeks later I saw many of the cuttings laying on the ground and they looked just fine. Your cuttings should be fine til you can get to them. Just keep them out of extreme temps or strong sunlight til you get to them.

Here's Allan with the Beckwith's Gem that he broke off....

Sidney, I will tell my Aunt Janice that you said that. She remembers you when you were here in August. We had a really good day sorting all these cuttings. We shed many tears over my Mother but still had a great day remembering all the things she used to do and say. I sure miss her helping me and this year will be so sad without her, she loved all the coleus, flowers & plants. I wrote a list last summer of the coleus that were her favorites... I'll have to find that list so I can smile every time I see the ones she loved so much!

BTW Sidney, Allan has been out in the garage digging out all my flats so I (we) can start potting them up this afternoon. So you were very wrong... I wasn't ready at all this year. LOL

yippy yippy mine are here! Thank you so much!
I bought koi in OKC yesterday, thinking I had several fish tanks in the garage and could put them in tanks until the pond is ready....got home last night and realized I had donated the tanks to Goodwill arrrrgh...my family forces me to get rid of things since I'm a terrible hoarder, so now I'm right, I should never give anything away, ever, since I will need it sometime in the future, haha, so this morning I made a mad dash to buy a small tank off Craigs list and now I'm setting up a fish tank instead of potting up cuttings. The stupid things I get myself into! At least the fish (4 of them) are tiny so the 30 gal tank I bought will be fine, and I can use it for plants later, and the fish and the tank were real bargains, so all is well.
Whew. Now to mist those cuttings...and clear a table for the flats...and get ready for the clematis that come next week....isn't springtime fun?
Cindi
Sticking tongue out Hilarious! Rolling my eyes.

OH mine are here, they are here. And they are perfect and beautiful. I've just come back in from moving yet another rose , but I found some potting soil for my coleus. So later this evening I will sit down and plant my little babies. Did I say how pretty they are!!!! Brinda you did a fabulous job. What a lady you are. Thank you so very very much.

Ok, another quick question. If I am wanting to send a few to someone in the mail, should I put them in little pots (like the little kids cups for the bathroom) with a little soil, or is there a better way?

I'm so happy that everyone is getting theirs. I've not looked yet but it looks like most have arrived. We probably won't hear from Pheadra or Joy for awhile. Pheadra said she had to work & Collier would be potting them up for her and I think Joy's computer is still down.

I'm tired... I am about 3/4 finished and my back is killing me.

BTW...ALLAN LIED TO ME! He is still sitting on the couch. I think I'll throw some potting soil on him just so it looks like he helped!
