It seems to hold its color good through the day, but it is in partial shade most of the afternoon. I sprayed some water on it earlier and does speckle up.

Kid, I love the watermarks and patterns there's just not enough room to do all the seedlings I'd like. Well, there's room...I just can't weed any more than what I already plant.

This was bonus seed from Gossard. The cross is suppose to be (philipi x magic of oz). I was looking through the geneology trying to figure out where the burgundy red came from.

I agree with both of you, sometimes a soothing calm is good for the soul.
Betty that last one has been around for many years, bud count isn't good enough for registration, but it's a beauty non the less.

Nice seedlings! The soft pink petals with big yellow hooks on N14 caught my eye. Brian the edge on yours reminds me of rick rack. My Mom used to sew a lot when I was at home and at that time using rick rack was in fashion. Very nice, hope the color evens out for you.

Think I posted this one last year, it's still up to the same old bag of tricks. During colder weather it is dark chestnut with a black eye.

When the temps get warmer and more humid it turns this strange copper highlighted bronze with a black eye.


Has another year or two for evaluating plant habit and may not make intro, but I think it is cool so it will stay until I tire of it.

I keep the ugly ones hidden, too! Or at least the ones I think are ugly, someone else would probably come in and pick totally different seedlings than what I pick to keep.
