The 'plan' for the coming year is to focus on shorters ones that rebloom. Avoiding looking up any Tall Beardeds so I am not tempted - unless I HAVE to look it up because the name is just too intriguing or too fun. Will see how long the plan stays together...

like the iris named 'I Wov Woses' I have not seen that one and I want it. LOL

yes, next year. I went to a site last night and they are closed for this year too. that always makes me feel sad. It's like it's really over for the year.... The window for buying irises is so narrow its not a wonder we make lists all year. I think you can order form Gilbert H Wilde anytime and get the ones he has potted. I have gotten some and the pots are really small but the irises are growing and you do not have to do anything but pop them out of the pot and into the ground. They do not have enough dwarfs and I try so hard not to fall in love with a big iris. Saying that I just got

My head's awhirl - just discovered Cubits - thanks to Arlyn - and saw some fabulous photos by Marilyn ( have to go back and see what her other name is)! A great photographer! So much so that I've started a new list. In fact, I have a list of lists!

Jan, one of my iris chores overwinter will be to combine iris wish lists, to cruise the websites and find how I can order from less sources and still fill my iris dreams. Right now I have a big binder, notebooks, notepads.... and takalong tablets for when I visit iris gardens. If I had all the irises I wanted I would not have a driveway..... hmmm.....

Bonnie, Driveways are over rated! I just got Solomon's Seal this summer at our state sale. I got two rhizomes, so by next year I may have one to share if they do well. I also have Louisa's Song, and I might be able to share one of those too. So put my name next to them on your list and check with me before you buy!

I need the scoop on Cubits. You all talk about it so much.
