Well you can always add a third row of raised beds next to the one you just finished, Oh heck just go aheand and make the back yard into a series of raised beds, You're going to need them anyway. Maybe you should buy the neighbors house too, and tear it down and make more beds! Hilarious! Rolling on the floor laughing

Mary Ann - dang girl. Grabbed the Chocolate Ecstasy too. I just had another cubic yard of garden mix delivered so I can plant the ones I already have waiting, so while I am crazy about some of Marilyn's iris, I am going to show restraint........ until next year. By then I will have more ready to trade too. I have so many newbies this year. As my " Grumbling " rating pretty much indicates. Hilarious!

Hi, my name is Rob and I'm an iris addict.

Since I only started planting named ones last year, I'll be able to make some trades next season.

Leslie -- I just knew you would have something to say about that (Chocolate Ecstasy)! Sorry about that -- but I just couldn't help myself. I fell in love. Lovey dubby

Look at it this way -- as long as it stays in the family, then it's only a matter of time before there are increases to share, right? And I'm gonna be wanting one of your avatar Irises -- so there you go!! Green Grin!

Fair enough Mary Ann, cos I couldn't help myself from commenting!! Hilarious! It sure is one to love though!

And Rob it sounds like a change of weather is about to come to Cali! Oh my!

Got my box of flouncy bouncy bearded iris today from Wild Iris Rows. Huge Rhizomes!! Especially on I Wuv Woses. Also in the box? Burseen's Elvis Dreamer, Sensationalizer (my first pom poms), Have a Good'un, Stolen Identity, and two of Greg Hester's - Lenora Suzzette & Vuneta Krisle. The start of my "spoon garden." I think I will move Dragon's Flight (w/Smoke Rings) over to this garden, and maybe one of my rhizomes of Kid Power as well. I like Durham Dream, Thornbird and Petal Pushers where I planted them so they won't get moved.... yet. That should give me a nice mix of the more unusuals, surrounded by the box of blues Greg (Misawa) sent. Need some dwarfs though...... PNW maybe?

Going into "Look at That Pretty Flower" overload......

Guess I have to update my list so I can get in on some of these fantastic trades!

Bonus - If I dig up enough - I have some more room to plant new ones!

I'm not nuts......just a little crazy!

That's funny Sherry, you do have some on that list that I also have on mine with Wedding Night and Sea Power being at the very top. Lovey dubby

I went to Walmart today to get groceries and I ended up doing the one thing everyone says not to do, I brought an Iris rhizome (in my defense I did only buy one) but I figured since this is my lucky day(finally finally got some rain)and it is only 3.85 I will see what I end up with Whistling It is a large rhizome bit dried out but I do see some greenery and it has several babies attached.

It is suppose to be Firebreather and this is Mary Ann's photo of it.
