Speaking of hurting, my back is hurting, I spent the day cutting up wood with the chain saw. Think I used muscles that haven't done much in a while! Tomorrow I get to split it all.

Well then, you'll find a different set of muscles tomorrow Tom..

Do you split by hand or with a machine?

In my experience....MORE than twice Sticking tongue out ...once when you cut it, once when you split it, once when you stack, unstack and haul it into the house, once when you burn it......and usually one more time when you haul out the ashes and spread them on the garden !

I just got back from Staples. I got a P touch labeler. I was just going to check them out, but they had this thing where you got 20% off anything you could stuff into this re-useable cloth bag. So, I got one and an extra label cartridge for the price of just the labeler. I couldn't resist that deal. I don't know if that's just a local sale, or if that's through out the system.

I just planted some more irises I had in pots and I can't believe what I did. I was being careful walking around, but when I was watering with the hose...I took a too big of a step backwards. I could feel the horror of what I had just done under my shoe. Blinking So I had to look at the label of the iris that just had 200 lbs on top of it. Oh no!...not "Rarer Than Rubies"! Sad

Well that is my stupid thing for the day. *Blush*

Nice Tom! I think it's time for a plant label thread. Whistling

Oh Rob, Sad That almost happened to me this week, but I was lucky. It would have been Star Turn that took the hit too, and I would really have been upset! That one cost me $60. But I just had my shoe end up next to it. Will yours live? At least you didn't twist your ankle or break a leg.

Greg, I ended up getting the PT-D200 Kind of a middle of the road model. Now I have to read the instructions to see how it works!

Tom, I've been through about 6 tape cartridges this year already.. The printers are cheap... It's the tape they get you on.. I just found some of the discontinued tape for the old labeler at less than half what the new cartridges cost.

Rob, It will come back!!

I hope it comes back! I squished all the leaves and new tiny increases right off of it. Sad I'll dig it up and pot it and baby it. With any luck, it'll send out some new growth.
