First rule of library plants:
Never ever have one that may wilt visibly where customers can see/touch it up close. Cuz there are those who will stick their finger in the pot and/or tell the innocent staff 'This plant needs water
" . No matter that there are 25 other plants thriving, and have been for years.
Second rule:
I am normally very easygoing but these complaints about my plants send me through the roof
and have me cussing like a sailor
By the way, do they realize they might be sticking their finger into Bonide systemic insecticide?
Third rule: Common folk do not readily recognize mealybug problems.
thankfully, or they'd have more to complain about.
I am tempted to stick my pokiest Sanseveira right at customer checkout, but I'm afraid a little kid will get poked.
Most praised plant this week- a simple african violet. I guess I don't see them sold often, lately? When it starts to rest, I should do leaf cuttings. (at home)
