I have some indoor ones at an east-facing window. They're not very good about reblooming. They're kind of lanky, too, so I'm thinking they don't get enough sun. I'd plant them outside but I don't have the space.

Margaret: What a magnificent mountain view out of your bay window! Your A. bulbs must love the place they got and give you the reward of their blooms. You the one!

Tarev, Yeah horrible S&S! The other day I scattered some poison feeds to cover my patio and front yard trying to kill those s&s and it worked that lot dead showed up around the plants (leaves like Amaryllis' with blue fan-like flowers in summer) in front yard... Yet, this morning I went out and looked seeing some live ones coming and up to the plants again!!! So disgusting Angry Angry Angry
If a plant looks good, smells good, don't eat it, grow it!

Thanks everyone, yes we have a lovely view, the downside to the bay window facing SW is that we broil in the living room in the summer even with the drapes closed.

It's been too dry for S&S here, I guess. I haven't seen any this year but I must not be lulled into a false sense of security.

Wow! There sure are some really lovely blooming amaryllis posted on this thread! I couldn't even pick a favorite if I had to!

My first bloom of this year. Is this cultivar Apple Blossom?

Thanks, Margaret for the ID. Naturally, the big box stores plants are often just a plant family label, not cultivar. (sigh)

Your welcome. I tip my hat to you. At least that is a lovely one you got, and it is fun to get a nice surprise, and of course there is always a change of not getting what you ordered from the bulb companies too.

Lemon Star from White Flower Farms. The last one of my new bulbs for the season. A medium sized pale lemon-lime bloom, not showy, but a lovely color. All 8 buds opened at once to make an extravagant display. The replacement Fiesta from White Flower Farms should be blooming in about a week. Even in bud, it looks so much healthier than did the first bulb. I think that the original Fiesta, that I received, was just a bad bulb.
