Grandchildren are my greatest joy.

I've had two very nice days with family. I was thinking they might give me a gift certificate for irises for Christmas which they have done in the past but they surprised me with a fancy new camera. I'm anxious to try it. Hope it takes good pictures.........

Hey Paul...me too!!! DH totally surprised me with a very nice new camera!!! I use to do a lot of photography and darkroom work back in the old days. Now I have some learning to do before I can do much with this camera

...but eventually I should be able to take some really nice pictures!

I hope you all had a great day. We are going to have our first freeze tonight or tomorrow...so I guess it's adios to my rebloomers...but I sure have enjoyed them!

I'm leaving in the morning to visit my elderly parents for about 5 days...and they don't have internet, so I may not be online much...unless I drive to a hotspot and enjoy a cup of tea and a little chatting with my friends!

Stout's. And I already have a good idea of what irises I will choose once the new site is up and running. There are a couple dwarfs and intermediates I have my eye on....
