Marilyn those temp changes sound as bad as here. I can sympathize! People wonder why I'm so paranoid about my plants. Hilarious! Rolling my eyes.

@paddy I had to look up where you are traveling - the canary islands, how lovely!! So yes that is probably not semp country, but I love the aeoniums, I have some that look almost just like that right now!! They wouldn't last in Ireland you're correct! Indoor plants for me here!

Bev love the photos!!
Marilyn what a good idea - way to get exactly what you're looking for!! Thumbs up
I tip my hat to you.

Sorry you've been under the weather Greg. Group hug Seems like most people getting this flu are laid low for longer than usual. Fortunately the semposium is a longish way off. However, I recall having the worst flu ever back in the 80s and the symptoms lingered for weeks. I'm glad that kind of flu doesn't come around very often.

Greg,

Am glad that you're doing better! We want you at 100% for the clinic.

My indoor plant addictions are Peperomias. So many cool ones. The flowers are tiny and would be difficult to cross, although I have raised a couple seedlings.

Stay cool.

Kevin

Greg, I am so relieved to hear that you are doing better. Please take good care of yourself. It truly would not be the same without you at the semposium.
Sending you many hugs. Oh quit squirming, I know you don't care that much about hugs, but I love hugging you. My daughters think we should adopt you into our family. Smiling Lovey dubby Group hug

So Kevin, you are now hybridizing Peperomias? What attributes are you going for? Green Grin!

Lynn, Haven't picked a project on the Peperomias but i like the splashed variegated and heavily watermarked ones. You know me "if it has pollen, it's not safe!".

This flu is sort of a nasty one. Almost sounds as though the vaccine did some good but didn't prevent it. We're all glad that your back in the pink Greg!

Pretty day here and I got a bunch of seed (not semp) seed planted. You will laugh as I have both the north and south areas outside the garage COVERED in pots and am now working on the patio slab. Worse yet I have a 154 pots of semp seed to plant next! I was thinking that Polly Bishop is laughing from the great beyond as to the monster she created when she taught me to cross.

Glad you are feeling better Greg! Stay well Smiling

The rain has finally cleared and the grass has greened up. Sun is extremely harsh. Spending the days moving my semp pots around in and out of the sun until I learn which ones cope and which ones don't.

My newest semps arrived yesterday, named as Sempervivum heuffelii 'Purple Haze' - don't know if is a semp type or a jovi type. Guess I'll find out eventually. Put them into their temporary pots to acclimatize. Looking forward to seeing if I can keep them happy.

Hi hi hi, all!

Greg, glad you're recovered. Patti, those look like lovely plants!

I am emerging from my winter slumber here somewhat, and took a few pictures to share:
This is Legolas, and I wish I had a before shot of when it was covered in ice and looked melted inside! But hey, it survived nicely!
Thumb of 2015-01-17/kylaluaz/ff9b45 (Got the wrong picture at first, had to edit, this is the one.)

This is one of the survivers from that tray of babies, waiting for spring. This is the biggest one; I can't tell how the teeny ones are and they are too little to photograph with my camera, but I have high hopes.

This is an out of focus, NOID from the same little area, I like it even though it's a little fuzzy:
