Hefty, So beautiful. A real 'grape' purple color. What a stunning bloom.

It's my favorite Adenium. I picked it up two years ago as a tiny plant with one bloom and haven't regretted it.

She's quite beautiful, Mark! Loaded with buds! I can't help with i.d. as I only recently purchased grafted plants of double and triple varieties from Rinoa in Taiwan.

Finally! After all this time, I finally got an open bloom on my red/black seedling plant:

The third photo is with flash. Bloom is not as great as I had hoped, but not too bad. The heavy daily rains we suddenly started getting lately was causing buds to drop, so I moved this plant (plus some others) onto the lanai behind a screen, so now in mostly shade but at least protected from the rain. This bud was only about 2/3 the size of the last ones, so I know I can expect larger flowers in the future.

While waiting for this one, I had a couple other seedlings (from a different seed group) bloom.

This one:

And this one:

There was also this very plain pinkish-white that bloomed, but right now I'm more excited about the doubles.

Thanks for the comments, all!

Ken, it's a really great feeling after you spend all that time growing them out, protecting them from birds and snails (birds got some seedlings early on, snails got some later), to finally be rewarded with nice blooms. Best of luck eith yours!

Holy cow, Ron. You mean birds and snails actually eat these seedlings.\? I have never even thought about that and thus never protected a single one. I do use snail bait though, protecting bromeliads and orchids, so perhaps that's why I have no problem with snails/slugs. Birds are all around, but they mainly want to feast on my ripening tomatoes.
