Finally back to my laptop, I was out yesterday when I saw on my phone the new changes. Figured got to wait to be at home to understand how to rearrange the stuff on my homepage. At first I got confused, then it was easy enough to add my placeholders and arrange the stuff as I want it. I do miss seeing the forums alphabetized, right now it is there but depends which one is actively on use so it is in disarray. Anyways I do not follow all the forums, so I just put the recent threads and those I watch on top. But at least got to remove the big photo on the default. Smiling

Age getting to you Sherry? Me too. Remember, inside every old person there is a young person wondering what the hell happened.

Yep.....I've always remembered a PBS program called Point of View...and there was a program with a group of women of varying ages, what they found was that each and every one of those women... in their minds they were 18...there may be outward signs of aging, but they were 18....

I prefer to be 44 myself, it was a very good year. And I was old enough to know a few things. At 18 I was just young, stupid and got married (for a while).

I'd like to be in my mid 20s again. California was still a novelty. Temperatures over 100F were a novelty. I was the most optimistic about life then. I also had yet to have depression and anxiety disorders like I do now.

I think the new format is kind of confusing & really liked the way it was. I don't follow all the forums either. How did you put the threads you watch on top so it's easier to access? I'm doing it on my phone.

Hi Debbie, it is not working well for me on my mobile phone, my customization works good only when I am on the laptop where the screen is bigger. Pretty much I just dragged and dropped Recent Threads on one of the column placeholders.

But I will play around, maybe I need to reduce column numbers. 4 across is too much for the phone screen so everything is so cut off.

This is a screenshot of what I see on my phone with the customization I did..not good at all...but on laptop view it is okay:

I just posted a reply to you about that in the Site thread you commented on:

Dave advised on another thread: "I have programmed it so that if you have 4 columns, they do not wrap even on a phone. There's a long explanation behind that limitation. If you think you want to use the site on a phone, I'd advise you to use no more than 3 columns per row."
