Great picks so far! Tomcat is neat - unusual color combination. Debra you have a hit with Tracy's Sunshine!

Difficult choice for me today. I have several T Iris that I love.

This is Time Will Tell

It wins for a bunch of reasons. Large and tall plant. I am a plicata fanatic. Also like purple. And it is one of the last to bloom - so it extends my iris season just a little longer!

Trimmed Velvet is special! I'm really liking dark velvety colors with a lighter band and beards, it lights up dark colors so beautifully!

And, Neal, it is a Spoon so maybe that is why it can tolerate our heat in this zone and still bloom. It was made in Virginia. Some MDB's struggle here because we do not have a long enough chill time and then the summer heat just beats them up. That makes me sad.

Bonnie - I wonder if that does make a difference. My SDB rhizomes from Stout, out of Oklahoma, are growing sooooo much faster here than the ones I have gotten from vendors in the PNW and northern Mid-West. Teagan, Jewelers Art, Flaming Lips and Quench have tripled in increases in the last 4 months. Especially Teagan.

I have so many T's that I can't wait to bloom. Said it before - but it will be harder if we do the alphabet again next winter!

Of my bloomed, my choice today will be Tanzanian Tangerine, a nice cheery orange plicata.

I definitely think it makes a difference. There are some that just struggle here and those are the ones that are hybridized in places where they have great soil, nutrients and rainfall. Those are sissy irises. The ones hybridized in the south can stand stony, clayey soil and drought in the severe sun of summer.... those are the tough stubborn ones bred to live a life of struggle and survive with beauty.

@tveguy2, you must have your items per page preference set real low! I have mine to show 400 per page so our last alphabet thread was only 2 pages. nodding

So many goodies Dave has added here, glad you figured it out Tom!

If I had a second choice to add for T Whistling

this is the one that I am adding to my garden this year from Superstition, just had to have it for those fun beards!

I'm waiting for maiden blooms on Tango Amigo, Tomcat, Tanzanian Tangerine, and Trillion. I already had Tobacco Chew and Tropical Passion (which is another lovely Goldkist baby by the way) on my wishlist...and now I have several more to add! This thread is fun, beautiful, and dangerous! Sticking tongue out

I chose Thundering Ovation with Time Traveler a close second. I'm going to be bad and show Time Traveler too because it's cute, I love it, and it looks like no one else has it (except maybe some of you that don't list your irises on ATP)
