Well, I would go with Yo Yo, an SDB, but I cant find my photo of it (I can hear a collective sigh). Tom, that little guy is really cute. I cant wait until mine blooms. smiles

I have (supposedly) two "Y" irises. There is one MIA that probably is lost (Yubblegum) which leaves me with...................

Yaquina Blue

I have only one *Y* Iris -- Yaquina Blue -- and Greg beat me to it.

So I'm gonna post a picture of this beauty anyway (not my pic, mine hasn't bloomed yet) -- and then go select an alternative.

Edited to add -- 1992 Schreiner's.

For my alternative, I choose High Master:
Thumb of 2015-02-05/Muddymitts/04cb7b

High Master is a 2001 Blyth introduction.

You know how sometimes you're disappointed when an Iris blooms? The pictures were SOOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful -- and the actual bloom is just OK? Well -- this is NOT one of those Irises. This is one that was just the opposite -- I expected a nice Iris -- I got a drop-dead gorgeous Iris. I am looking forward to a clump of this one! Hurray!

Very limited band width is preventing me from "playing" Grumbling , and even from posting on most days ! The campground is having some kind of problems with their wifi, and service lines, and, being across the street from the Coast Guard Station, and the Mobile Bay pilot Station (not to mention all the ship traffic !) ties up all the "over the air" band width.....so...... Shrug!

Wonderful Lucy!!

Only Y I have is Yummy Accent, but it hasn't bloomed yet.

A wishlist Y of mine is the Japanese Iris Yuzen. Love the narrow band of color on the white bloom! Lovey dubby Please open the link to see Chad Harris's lovely pic:
