Leslie, those crocus sure are a bright color! Love them. Love the flower field as well. Now I have to go out into the cold afternoon and feed horses. I'm going to need a bunch of nice pictures of spring time bloom to keep me going when I get back in. either that, or I go completely wacky!

I'm with ya there Tom, I'm getting pretty much over this winter weather, and going a bit batty myself. These spring pics have been bright spot on these snowed in days.

There were a dozen hummers around the two feeders while I had lunch on the deck a few feet away.
We have several who hang around all winter because our winters are mild. But there's a sudden arrival
of more. Back from wherever. Spring! Their buzzing hum was very loud today.
Oh my Brad! Such a nice bunch of bloom! I raised a Bird of Paradise from seed once, and had it as a house plant for about 10 years. It bloomed nicely too after about 3 or so years, but then just died, and I couldn't save it.
Hummingbirds are awesome. I have one that builds a nest in my climates every year.

While many of you in the north-east are enduring a cold snowy winter we here in Utah have had the mildest winter in memory. One big problem though......we really haven't had any decent moisture since before Christmas. Hope we have lots of spring showers. I'm starting to see signs of spring, iris reticulata, crocus, a few daffs in a warm exposure, etc. Here are some spring pictures from 2013 and 2014.......
