Sherry, I have the same exposure problem with whites and yellows. Have tried different distances, different lighting--not much seems to help. I would post the question on the Photography forum. http://garden.org/forums/view/...
If your camera has the option, you can set it for snow shots. Mine allows for all sorts of lighting conditions that you can set by symbols (snow is a little snowman) if you don't want to deal with setting aperatures and such.

Sue, I would love love love a piece of that if you ever divide it again. That's so gorgeous! I've had mine in a pot since the 70's.. Although it's a bigger pot now... Its' been absolutely bomb-proof. I think the only plant I've had longer is a Spathiphyllum I got for my 19th birthday.

Great Daffs Sherry! The white with a deep apricot cup looks like 'Chromacolor', and the tazetta with golden orange cups looks like 'Geranium'- the latter is one of my favorites- love the fragrance!

Here are a daffodil (Ice Follies, a little past peak) BB iris Skookumchuck and some spiraxis that have naturalized in the expansion joint of my driveway. The iris is short even for a BB. Lack of winter chill has made them shorter I think.
