Queen's Tears is stunning! I wonder if that can be grown as a potted plant? It would be so cool to display it for up close inspection.

Sherry, I have the same exposure problem with whites and yellows. Have tried different distances, different lighting--not much seems to help. I would post the question on the Photography forum.

If your camera has the option, you can set it for snow shots. Mine allows for all sorts of lighting conditions that you can set by symbols (snow is a little snowman) if you don't want to deal with setting aperatures and such.

I have variegated Billbergia nutans that I've had in pots for years, they have been divided several times. They stay outside year round here but are considered an easy house plant.

Sue, I would love love love a piece of that if you ever divide it again. Green Grin! That's so gorgeous! I've had mine in a pot since the 70's.. Although it's a bigger pot now... Its' been absolutely bomb-proof. I think the only plant I've had longer is a Spathiphyllum I got for my 19th birthday.

Sure thing Sherry! And we should get a group Calif t-mail going to see if we can plan that Superstition garden visit together and perhaps get some trades going too.

The early daffodils are pretty much done.. the mid-season ones are going strong right now..

'Mt. Hood'

I don't know the names of these.. I got a bag of mixed bulbs as a gift some years back.

Great Daffs Sherry! The white with a deep apricot cup looks like 'Chromacolor', and the tazetta with golden orange cups looks like 'Geranium'- the latter is one of my favorites- love the fragrance!

Here are a daffodil (Ice Follies, a little past peak) BB iris Skookumchuck and some spiraxis that have naturalized in the expansion joint of my driveway. The iris is short even for a BB. Lack of winter chill has made them shorter I think.
