As you might imagine, I heartily agree with adding rocks and more rocks. You use them so artfully, Philip. They look completely natural in your landscape.

Thanks jmorth and Jeanie,..its actually fun stacking the stones and easily enough seeing most had at least one flat side.

Another nice warm day so off to the water with Molly,..not the river area but the lake,..its on higher ground as its above the Weir.

jmorth and Arlene,..within just a few days lots of blooms appeared,..no rain but lots of sun did the trick.

I really am getting soft in my old age as when i see that Rabbit,.. i feel sorry for it,..there should be two but of late i only see the one when there were always the two out,..i mentioned some time back that a guy released the Rabbits between the river and a football pitch,..ok they have grass and cover now but about three weeks ago the football pitch was under water plus there isn't very high ground around there,..somehow they survived the flood and the many Foxes around there.

Jeanie,..with the spell of good weather i have managed to be able to sit with mug of tea in hand,..look at the garden and try find something to do,..managed to spray a few white containers Green,..then add soft rope carry handles.

At the start of Autumn last year when leaves fell on my garden pathway i swept up about a bucket full,..threw them behind a rose bush,..today as i was planting a Purple Fennel in that spot i thought i was looking at half a broken birds egg,..lifted it up and surprise surprise it was what i call a Hollyhock Cup,..its what you are left with when you pull a faded Hollyhock bloom from the plant,..there is a small green shoot protruding from the bottom of the cup,..soooooo i planted it in a pot,..should be interesting to see will it grow.

The way it was positioned on the soil........................................When turned over.

Philip - it must feel good to see grass again though Molly may miss the fun in the water.

Think of it as a wider ATP audience, not a restricted one by boundaries.

Phillip I've never been on a gardening website that has the nations as well represented as they are here. True, I was taken aback when the name was switched from ATP but more my concern is that hey Philip is gardening in 8a as I do, he has a water dog as I do, he has lungworts and cowslip primula of which I just receive my first in a trade! So we are much more than ATP. Soooo Group hug

Interesting...I wondered if I was the only person not entirely comfortable with the name change. I should have known that would not be the case. I can be resistant to change sometimes.
So glad the water is receding, Philip. Your photos are lovely...and any plant from your yard seems willing to reproduce, even when tossed in a pile of leaves!
