I'd certainly trade with you...but I recently moved to my place and my most mature hosta is only a couple of years old (with the exception of the undulatas and lancifolias that came with the house.)

Hi everyone. My name is Marti and I am new to hostas. I just bought a 3 gallon pot of hosta for $14.99. Seemed like a good price to me. The hosta's name is Guacamole and it has started to bloom. Large white flowers. I think I will be getting more hostas as I expand the partial to full shade garden.

Nice to see you here, Marti! Guacamole is one of those lovely, hardy hostas that I wouldn't be without. You found a great deal! You'll find that hostas are like Lay's potato chips..you can't have just one! Come join us on the other threads. We'll make sure that your cravings increase!

OH I'm already looking at others to buy. Especially at that price. The nursery says they don't want to over winter them and than divide them so they are trying to sell off as much as possible.

Sorry for not introducing myself. I have very little shade and mainly collect mini hostas. I enjoy being here and seeing all your beautiful pictures. Great eye candy. I'll be looking next year for a coop offering mini hostas but also have seen I can buy from Hallstons.
