They were out during a thaw, but have not been 'chipped' at lately. They are in a small hill & our stone wall along the road. The wall is the New England without mortar type.

Ummm...don't the snakes love the chippies more?

I wish.....the chippies outnumber the snakes.....once in awhile they leave their skins in the rocks....most must be ribbon snakes, that's all I usually see, except for an occasional ring-necked.....
Chipmunks live in all the rock walls around our pool. When I cut down all the Ornamental grasses I found all their little nests they made from the dried grass. Cute little buggers.
