If I remember correctly, today will be scattered showers but warm and it's the least of the daily rain we'll get so I'm heading out now!

What a dismal forecast but a great looking weekend coming up...unless that gets changed before the weekend.

That's the thing. The forecast gets changed by the time whatever they said finially arrives. Still doesn't look like the best week cause of the rain. Plus not gonna be as warm in the next few days. But it won't last so the nice weather has to come back.

After I finish pruning the roses I will be putting out the Rose Tone Fertilizer. Then I want it too rain, not necessarily now ha-ha.

I did all the pruning of just the 6 roses in one garden. I'll eventually get to the others in the actual rose garden. One climber done, one to go.

I used bone meal, Rose food, Epsom salt and Osmocote. If they want more then they'll have to go out and buy it.

The Iris reticulata is blooming which is a sure sign of Spring. So cold today again that it sure doesn't feel like spring. The darker blue ones are Harmony, the light are Aldia.

I have those Iris reticulata in two spots in the garden. The front garden ones are in a sunnier spot and always show up first, then the others.

At last I have some daffodils blooming also. Starting a month later than most years!

If I go by when it feels like spring, my sure sign has to be when there are Robins all over the lawns in my neighborhood. They were all flying along side of me as I drove down the road this morning and they are everywhere. I was thinking "yay" it is finally spring!

Alice must appreciate the grooming. High winds here are a sure sign warmer weather will continue. I am confident we wont see temps in the teens any more.
