Community garden was fun. Brought home some individual leaves of red lettuce, Swiss Chard, curly Kale, and green cabbage; a slew of broccoli buds and blossoms (who knew they would taste good?); and enough cilantro to stock a restaurant. Salad time!!! Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up

germanica? Dunno, but it is pretty. And more purple than my camera can pick up, but these are close.

What beautiful pictures Debra! I love the diamond dust on the iris close ups & the cute little friend. That first photo is extra pretty - the dappled lighting is great. So wonderful that you enjoyed your outing. Big Grin Thumbs up and it sounds like you really scored with all the greens. Hurray! Yummy - fresh, fresh, fresh!

That is an intriguing picture of your tree peony! Does it grow well for you? I love peonies and have been thinking of adding a tree peony to the back of a new garden I am making.

Pictures, as usual, are great. Love your iris photos and I am so glad you will be able to share them with your sister for her wedding. It was nice that you had that great outing and sounds like you made a great haul, too!

Overcast and breezy, today. Photographs not as clear or pretty as I want, will wait for tomorrow on most, and hope for sunny skies.

Yes, Debra, I do! Thank you for sharing the photo. It is going to make an impressive clump display that glows even in the rain.
