As long as this deals with Superstition......the AB's I added from them last season are looking GREAT !! I've enjoyed seeing what they will look like ,here, in a few more weeks !

Oh my, Marilyn -- those pictures just take my breath away. I can only imagine what they look like in person!!!

He had a lot of smoky red seedlings. These are all different, although may be from the same pod... I was taking so many pictures, I got tired of keeping track of the seedlings... My pictures don't do these justice.. Many had a beautiful, velvety look to them..

I love those falls on GBoF.

Most of the Arilbreds were finished...but they still had blooms on these 3 seedlings and I thought they were gorgeous!

This one is a little dark...but was the best I could get. It's a really beautiful iris and I plan to add it to my collection!

Marilyn - nice pics. I agree about Sports Coat. It will be pretty in the garden.

You can almost feel the heat coming off of some of those reds!

Here's the winner for the picture that best represents the beautiful day we spent at Superstition Gardens. The weather could not have been nicer! We enjoyed a lovely potluck picnic lunch right there in the garden! (Sherry makes a great quiche, and Barbara's broccoli salad was delicious too!)

Thanks to Rick and Roger who were gracious hosts and visited with us when they could! I hope you two had a great day today with lots of visitors coming back from the AIS Regional convention!!!




Sherry and Barbara and I have all talked about making this an annual event and possibly alternating between Supersition Iris Gardens and Napa Country Iris Gardens! We hope more of our local California friends (and anyone else who can make it out here) can join us next year!!!
