Wow -- just wow!! I'm sitting here with my mouth open (and probably drooling) over all the beauties that you shared. There are so many that I love, that I cannot list them all.

I don't know how you pick a favorite when there are so many gorgeous flowers to choose from!!!

I am planning to add a lot of them to my insanely long wishlist...but the three that were new to me that impressed me the most were:

Eye For Style


Rags To Riches


Of course I was so smitten by the blooms I forgot to look at the plant habits...and there were many that had not bloomed or had finished blooming. Unfortunately Velvet Valentine was at the end of it's bloom so I didn't get a picture and can only guess at what it looked like with fresh blooms. Still it was very pretty!

Another that I've been wanting was confirmed when I saw it even though I was not able to get the best picture of it, that's Planet Hollywood:

Unless we purchase a car this week, (finally got the insurance payout) I will without a car Sat. so I won't make it.

What a beautiful picture of Enter The Dragon. I am collecting the Blyth Dragons this year.

Are you getting Puff The Magic? I got it last year. It bloomed this year, but since it is in a pot it is not very happy. The blooms were very small. Still I think it will be very pretty when it gets a home in the ground.

I haven't gotten Puff yet. It seems to be the one that sells out on a lot of vendor sites. I think I will get it from the same place I am getting Dragon Dance. But Puff isn't a big priority (I may regret that statement at some point....) and I may wait and see if Burgard's will have it again next year (she has such great prices!).

Here are some of the seedlings we enjoyed seeing at Superstition Iris Gardens on Saturday. I did not try to keep track of seedling numbers...but here are some nice blooms to enjoy. Some will be introduced eventually, others will not.





A taller version of Celestial Explosion which is darker and has better dot distribution.


This one they are using to breed for the center stripe, aiming to get a more ruffles.





This white was big and stunning in a clump.


One of my favorites, beautiful in a clump.

Time for another installment of Superstition Garden seedlings. I wish I had kept notes so I could tell you which ones they are hoping to introduce in '16 and '17...maybe Brad will do a better job of keeping those notes straight.

This is the final installment of seedling photos (of the ones I took) from Superstition Iris Gardens. There were many more seedlings...I tried to pick a variety of some of the nicest ones.

I was surprised at how large the flowers of 'Betty Ford' were.. It really made a statement.


'Blue Rising' was lovely


I might have to add 'Senior Moment' because....well.... if the shoe fits...


'Ovation' was a really nice coral pink.


'Drunk Skunk' made me smile


My picture of 'Peggy Ann' didn't come out well, but I think it was one of the nicer broken colors I've seen. I'm glad Marilyn got a good shot.

'Tina Louise' was richly colored. The falls- soft and velvety.
