OOPS, Ann...I called you Arlyn earlier. I saw the Acorn and didn't look past that, just assumed it was Arlyn. Anyway, Victoria Falls falls because it does not have a very much substance to it's stem so it gets kinda tall and top heavy with it's flowers. I would have explained but thought it was Arlyn and he could just figure it out I guess. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Sometimes I just don't think. It is a good way to help ID VF, she is flimsy.

This will be the last of my irises and I went ahead and cut them so that my wife and I could enjoy them for a couple of days in the kitchen. I have no clue what they are, and there are three different varieties in this vase. I just know they are pretty and are fragrant.

There you go, Lori. My problem is that I am a "named-plant" freak and have hundreds of orchids (many hundreds Sticking tongue out ), all properly labeled.

It's not 'Purissima'. This one has PBF, and Purissima does not. It matches the pictures and beard description for 'Matterhorn', which does have PBF. Anyone have any opinion?

Henhouse said:

This was supposed to be 'California Gold'.. It's a lovely white (planted next to warm colors)... I"m thinking maybe purissima...
