The rain by pond got under it and gave us a bad time but we persevered and it is done. I may buy one tomato plant and one jalapeƱo pepper. Too late for seeds.

1.5" rain for the event, a few brittle sweetgum branches got too heavy and fell, I heard there were 2 twisters in North Texas, but apparently they did no harm- not like the one in Quapaw, Okla.
Wow, quite a bit bigger than I expected that pond to be, you did an awesome job on it.

We got a little tail end of the rain - 0.15". Things are at least damp here.

Boy what a mess last night. Power stayed on (except for a couple of flickering) through it all, idk how. A lot of rain, severe wind and lightening every other second. It hailed for a few seconds at the beginning. Didn't go off to sleep until around 1 am or after and kept hearing thunder and seeing lightening throughout the night. Big garden turned into a sandy bog. A couple of tomato plants were leaning over and I propped them back up.
Ban the GMO tomato!

No, it was rather badly built about 25 years ago. I've been repairing, and cleaning, and adding access steps since 2014. It has issues, but when I took it on, neither of the water falls was capable of being run without leaks, all the seals were blown.

I first saw it in 2012, when it had about 18 inches of water in the bottom and a fountain pump shooting water straight up to provide aeration for the fish.

In 2014 we took it on and it took us 4 days to clean, repair seals and get it operational. Pic is 2014. 2012 I took one look and the maintenance guy wanted a $300 cleanup and I didn't even take a pic before I walked back to my truck

2014 after. In 2016 we got the umbrella plants and dirt to quit invading and added wide access steps so no one dies by falling down the steep walls, I think we leveled the waterfall by the pergola in 2018. They removed umbrella plants around 2018. We removed all the limestone boulders that grew the fierce algae about 2017? I have a lot of pictures. One after the 2014 restart and then I need to walk my dogs.

Very nice pool. The southern half of Central Texas has had a lot of pool problems because of defective concrete done by pool contractors. I've heard way too many sad stories. Some homeowners are still dealing with the problems even many years later. Some of the pool companies went bankrupt, I've heard. It's bad enough all the other stories of severe foundation cracks people have been dealing with in the San Antonio area. That has always been a problem. Anyway, glad you got it working!

One reason I don't work on concrete ponds. Almost impossible to repair. This one is lined with 45 mil epdm liner, the same material your tires are made of. It is a koi pond, there are fish in there, water is not clear due to all the stir-up of cleaning

86* but the humidity dropped to 68% after lunch. I twisted a muscle putting up the gas can, and have been limping severely ever since. It is a good thing I had decided to have a break today as my hip is still getting even with me. I did throw out fireant granules around structures, and refresh the hummer feeders. Daylilies are staarting to bloom here.

Supposed to rain tomorro, oops 55% chance today also. 82* with 76% humidity, will probably mow this afternoon, need to cool down first. Trimmed oregano, shaped trellis and swapped it to the tomatoes, cuke heads showing curls.

Tomatoes attached- almost waited too long to switch that trellis, oregano smells SO GOOD.
