Looks like it to me too. I have a fan coming up about 8 inches away from the clump of Early Fragrance. I am anxious to see it in bloom (maybe next year!). I normally deadhead, but maybe a pod was left to drop a seed Confused I don't usually see a fan come up that far away from the clump.

Another nice NOID from my box of seedlings from Michele last summer. (I'll bet she's really busy about now).

I agree on it looking like Sabine Baur. That surely is a pretty one.

I know the Hostas won't be in bloom for some time, but the colors that show up in the gardens after a spring rain are almost as pretty as a flower in bloom!

Thank you for your feedback. Has this ever happened to any of your daylilies? I am going to have to move it and rename that first one Wannabe

Karen, you sure should post those lovely pictures for the hosta nuts over on the Hostas forum.

So beautiful!

Hostas become very addicting just like any other plants. When I bought my first one, I said just one, and now I have 50 some!!!

Do they increase like daylilies?
How do they make new ones? Hybridizing?
Do you have any blue ones? Big Grin

Karen, that is a great collection of hosta! I grow several too. I just don't have a lot of shade.

Thanks Teresa. I could add a lot more, but taking care of all this is getting to be a factor these days.

Ashton, yes they multiply like daylilies do and are easy to divide in the spring. I have one huge blue one but I like the lighter colors best.
