We had a very wet and chilly spring. It made growing veggies difficult this year.

Yesterday I picked about a dozen tomatoes and left them on the table. Today when I got home from work I noticed one of the tomatoes had half the skin missing and a pile of chewed looking bits next to it. I picked it up only to find a big fat caterpillar eating away at it. I removed the caterpillar right to the turtles tank where they said Burp.

I just picked a nice sized box full of assorted tomatoes. I also picked a large bag of Juliet Grape tomatoes which are always perfect for adding to salads or roasting on a skewer on the grill.

Brrrrr at 46 degrees and I'm outside picking pole beans, tomatoes, basil, kale, swiss chard and hungarian peppers. I think this is the lastest I've ever been out picking from the garden. Lots of green tomatoes still on the vines. Just might have to pick them and make a green salsa.

Lots of green tomatoes here also but with this kind of weather they might not ever get ripe.

It might not have enough time to mature.
