It is amazing how late into the season the grape and cherry tomatoes keep on producing pumping out the fruit. They will keep going till frost. Thumbs up

RobinD said:Went to a Farmer's Market with my niece....surprising how much produce they still had....we had some grape heirloom toms & Orange Pippin apples......I bought an apple called Snapdragon....huge & delish!

I also am surprised how much produce is still growing in the community garden, and on my porch! must have been the long warm summer. That apple sounds so good! Never heard of that variety.

Never heard of snapdragon Apples. Sounds delish though.

My pole beans are going gang busters. Been picking two or three baggies full ever day. Still lots of tomatoes turning red. I don't have the time to pick. The chicken coop has taken all my time. After working a full time job, then four hours on the coop I'm just exhausted. It's getting darker earlier every night.

Yellow Pear split and cracked for me so it never amounted to much here.

I long ago pulled my spring planted summer squashes but my mid summer replacement plants are still there. Picked two nice ones myself only a few days ago.

Just picked a trash bag of kale to mostly freeze for winter use. Only have one neighbor who eats it. Can't believe how much more grew after I pick most of it early September! Gonna take me forever to wash and dry! Still getting tomatoes, lettuce, and peppers, but might be a frost tonight. The garden is in a somewhat protected area, so hoping what's left will be ok. Predicting the 70's on Monday!

Sister gave this for decorative purposes. As you can see, neck rotted. So is this a squash or a gourd? Would hate to waste a squash. Anyone recognize it?

Picked a dozen red tomatoes and 8 more Hungarian peppers today. All that is left is a a couple dozen green toms and a few tiny peppers. Beans still going but I think this weekends cold weather will halt the garden in it's track.
