It's a good thing my daughters were home visiting yesterday. They helped me cover up the last of the plants. The rusty nail puncture in my foot has stopped me from walking. I've always said, "I wouldn't be Cheryl if I didn't at least have a Bandaid on!" But this is not the time of year to not walk! I have my 10 year old well-used, knee cart and crutches if need be. I went out to supervise the plant covering seeing how both my girls are not gardeners. But they had seen me do it over the years. Of course, I had to try to help while on my knee cart, and tipped over on the uneven surface, adding bruises and more soreness to my other injury.
I am getting better slowly. Had a tetanus booster just last year. But it really is no fun to be inconvenienced! But I did spend the day in front of the fire watching movies with DDs. That was fun. I can't believe they never took the time to watch the Sound of Music or Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Two of my favorites!
