My Max tenuifolia never blooms that well, I get every Spring a few blooms here and there and that is it! Mine is done now. Carol, you could have fooled me with " not much going on!" Smiling
I love the Sobralia too!!
Jim you have the perfect Cattleyas, I love them both!! Lovey dubby

I managed to clean more than half of the filthy, over the Winter gummed up Glass panels in the greenhouse this morning. I like to use those wet Swiffer pads to get the crud off and then polish with Windex and papertowels!
Now this time I am not a happy camper, someone changed the formula on the cleaning fluid in those pads and also added less of it to each box. Why????? Are they trying to save a couple of pennies by getting cheap? Normally they work on the first wipe, this time I had to really scrub! Thumbs down Thumbs down And they dried while I was still using them. Not cool!!

I am happy I picked up that Catyclia Purple Glory last week! I love the showy spikes as the buds open.

Ursula, My Maxi was only giving me a couple of blooms too, and every time I mentioned it to Andy, he said "more sun". I finally decided to risk it, and now it seems happy. Maybe yours would respond to being up top during the indoor season.

Lovely Catts, Ursula and I can see why you picked up the Catyclia Purple Glory. Very nice indeed. I've been organizing my old garden photos and adding some to the ATP database as I go. I now have a ton of acorns and no idea what to do with them. I also have a ton of thumbs up and no clue what to do with them either. I need to read up on the admin notes or something.

About the only thing you can do with acorns is use them to 'buy' not-a-raffle tickets (and there are some great prizes) or give them away to other people. I have hundreds, too.

Me too. I suggested to Dave that he needs to figure out something to do with the "thumbs-up" but he never came up with a use for them. Shrug!

I could be mistaken ,but I think you now have to buy those little Interest symbols under your name with acorns. I could be wrong!

You are correct, Carol. It takes acorns to get those "badges". Now, what to do with "thumbs-up"? Shrug!

I look at the "thumbs up" same way as a 'like' on Facebook.
Jim, raffles are announced by Dave on the front page and tickets run 5 acorns a piece. I won recently 50 bucks from American Meadows. I used them to get Dahlias from them which are getting ready to bloom soon in my garden.

They delivered our new fridge and dishwasher this morning. They are certainly more complex then they used to be. I can see a learning curve in my future.

The thumbs up are just a nice "kudos" and a way for someone to admire what you said/posted. Doesn't really require a response.

Is this "yellow-season" Kate?

I always acknowledge the gift of acorns. I used to thank those who sent a "thumbs-up", but quit. I have over 2700 thumbs-up and there's your reason. Whistling

Yep, you've already had your 20 bucks worth, I'd say. Now you can look forward to many more lovely flowers in years to come, every one a bonus.
