Lovey dubby Tom, I'm in love with Kaleidescope Deamsicle!

Others that caught my eye today: American Revolution's dark coloring, The curling petals on Square Dancer's Curtsy, the fantastic pattern on Barcode!

Here I had the ffo on BULLFROG KISSES.

I am loving seeing all the daylilies everyone has. I've only had 3 ffo's so far.

Bullfrog Kisses and Bluebird Butterfly are gorgeous!

I saw this when I was heading to work at 5:30 this morning, must be a CMO, Sabine Baur, added last year and the first bloom on it for me.

Tom, that Room Full of Mirrors is one of the prettiest lowers I have ever seen. It is so delicate looking!!

Gale, Sabine is really nice also.

tmuabarth,
I think the reason you saw 'Sabine Baur' opened up so early in the morning is because it shows to be nocturnal!

Larry- That is interesting to know, do all nocturnal Daylilies open fully in cool weather?

Thanks,

I have seen no info on that, but would doubt "all" of them would.

Here are two blooms from my "unknowns" just finally opening partially. I suspect the heavy rain for days has slowed them down considerably. Posting pictures because they are lovely even though only half opened.

These are from two separate fans (just acquired and planted last summer) but they appear to be the same daylily.

One new bloom today. This one also came from California. I was told not to expect anything from it this year. But it surprised me and the sender who is also the hybridizer. Not a fancy one and not a newer one, but I am very fond of reds & oranges so I like it!
