Here I was thinking you were just a hairy legged old boy, Greg, now I see you are a real cutie!.... still a bit hairy though.

So you are doing some tech work with NASA? Or trying to when the "hairy one" isn't busy posting on ATP?

Yes, some sort of "tech" work for NASA's Hubble Space Telescope Project.

I do Procurement, Asset Management, System Admin, Sparing/spare storage, Safety, Logistics, and anything else management wants me to do! All done as part of the "Ground System Team" which controls all aspects of communication & orientation of the "bird".

I knew you worked with computers and such, so that makes sense. Hubble is a wonderful project to be a part of! As close as I get to it is the wonderful glossy pictures in my National Geographics. It must be interesting work (which makes for fun work too).

I remember it being a "tad" lighter in color. The picture was taken when the Sun ducked behind a cloud (we were in the "Atrium" of the mall with lots of windows on the roof). The person who brought it brought three stalks of it. I think she has a lot of it.

He knows (and everyone around here knows) that we are but meer cogs in the "machine" that is NASA. They make a BIG deal when "astronauts" are around.

That picture of the astronaut with his image reflecting off the shuttle is really cool. Those are definitely noteworthy photos!

the reflection is actually off of Hubble as they are getting ready to deploy it. The shuttle is at the bottom of that picture.

Thanks for the correction Greg, I thought it looked too shiny for the nose of the shuttle.

On the Anniversary picture - on the 5 - what is the image in the crook of the five (it looks all the world like a group of Star Wars aliens - which of course it isn't)?

I used to bring a monkey to all our gigs.. The grandkids play with him now. Not the same as a NASA bear, but it's what I got.. and yeah, we have to play in some really awful places Hilarious!
