Hey everybody, I'm glad I was able to get over here. speaking of peas Sandra,

I recently bought the mr pea sheller off ebay I think it was 40.00 with shipping, that little tiny thing came in the mail , my husband laughed, you know we were use to that huge 400.00 pea sheller. then this one comes in the mail, and we set it up on a board with a drill as a handle so we wouldn't have to crank it, and that little "MONSTER": shelled peas better than the 400.00 one did, the more expensive one wasted half the peas and crushed them, this one went through the zipper cream peas like nothing and I was very impressed, it takes longer to shell the peas this way but still beats doing it by hand. I like that little pea sheller.

when I got in from walking last night at l0:00 (yeah I can't move this morning) Found out darren had quit shelling the peas, I asked him why he quit, he said he got tired and it was smashing the peas, I said , no, you don't know what smashed peas are till you use that other pea sheller. lol He has to finish the peas tonight after he gets off work. Don't feel bad for him though, I don't get to sit down at night till about l0:00 pm. won't hurt someone else to work.

ok, got to go get ready for work, ya'll have a blessed day. We're printing a couple of huge jobs today & tomorrow, jobs we weren't expecting to get. they aren't easy print jobs, 4 color back and 2 color fronts on tee shirts, hope we do ok. makes me a little nervous. our artist is new this week, hired on the week the boss went to vacation, I had to call in an old employee to show him how to print off the velloms so we could burn the screens for the print job.

Yea I talked to Sandra yesterday while she was shelling peas and it made my hands hurt just thinking of it!!! LOL!!!! It definately brought old memories of us as kids sitting on the back porch shelling peas!!! I told her about the fruit stand here that will shell them for you for a nominal fee!!!

Good luck KA!!! Hope you have a productive day today!!!! I'm gonna wax floors so next month for my garden club meeting the house will look OK. They just informed me yesterday that the paper will be doing an article on our club and C. C. Lockwood so I have to make everything look nice.

Good morniing all..I do plan to have a small fall garden with cabbage broccoli tomatoes greens in it. Its so dry right now tho I may change my mind if we dont get some rain.. I only grew three rows of purple hull peas this year and have them picked shelled and put up already. They did really good tho and Im so glad because we love them..Well I guess i better get back out side and finish watering, before everything dries up..Heres a picture of the sun on the rise this morning.

Okay, I posted on the other thread....

I am glad to see y'all. There has been so much family talk on DG July thread that I have not posted...did not want to interrupt. Miss y'all! I am already looking forward to Rita's next spring!

I love peas...green, purple hull, black-eyed, etc...so feel free to send me some Smiling I will be happy to shell them even!

KA, you are such busy girl! btw, we ate both jars of your greenbeans last night. They were delicious!!!! We considered driving to your house and stealing the rest of them. Hilarious! Looking forward to Saturday luncheon. See you when you get here...

Wow, Jeri, isn't it too hot/cold/wet/dry/something to wax floors?! I can always come up with an excuse not to do floors...or windows...or ironing...okay all housework! Sticking tongue out

Love your picture Trish. You have some beautiful sunset pictures.

Glad you liked the green beans kim, I didn't grow any of those this year cause we had plenty left from last year,

we do already have our small fall garden planted, a second round of squash coming along nicely, two diff kinds of seedless cucumbers, and I will have l00's of them soon , and we planted some spegetti squash and butternut squash, I'll try to take a pic tonight I also have about 8 tomatoe plants planted out there, and 4 or 5 kinds of melons, not watermelons but cantelope types and honeydews. I think that's all we planted lol. my corn is coming along nicely, about 35 rows of it. lol i don't even want to think abuot taking all that off the cob.

It's called Quick Shine and I first ordered it off TV but you can get it at Walmart here on the mop isle. You can use it on any floor. I've used it on vinyl, laminated, tile and brick floors. Jim put it on our seamless countertops in our old motorhome. The Co. mades those little cordless vacuums that I use for quick pickup jobs in the kitchen.
