How is the weather there? We are still baking here with bad ozone levels today. I am still trying to keep my poor garden alive so I will be out there in it!!!!

We're finally having some low 80 degree days, but only for a couple a days. Then, it will get hotter. Mid to high 80's. Also a couple of 90 degree days.

Still dry here. We could use some good 'soaking' days of rain.

We had been blessed with some rain but we are still in a drought. Our temperatures are in the high 90's this week but that feels like a cool front after almost a month on over 100 degree days.

Marilyn; your image looks like our Firecracker plant... the Hummers LOVE it ! We are looking at a possible Severe Weather Weekend...

My hubs and I are headed to Ft Walton Beach. Where it is supposed to RAIN the whole weekend ! LOL..... We'll see...... at any rate I NEED a weekend away.

No rain here and I have been dragging the sprinklers around a lot too. It does look very cloudy outside and I feel moisture in the air like it will rain. Karen

I went to get groceries tonight and it was insane in there. They had 3 lines open,I was in a line all the way through the clothes section,people were abandoning their shopping carts because it was taking so long. I saw probably 6 or 8 carts abandoned and the people walking out instead of waiting. People were upset and the checkout lady was stressed and tired not being given a proper break time. Apparently people are worried about a power outage and were stocking up. I did get more water and some nonperishable food just in case. I`m washing all my clothes and sheets tonight as well.(I need to do that anyways but is is nice to be prepared just in case.)

I know!!! It was on the news!!! I need to go but I was thinking maybe Sun. I hate shopping other than for plants!!! LOL!!!

Wow! If they left their carts, they just had to go to another store and wait there...I betcha. It can be frustrating when there are so many checkout counters but only a few open. Most of the time, I really like the self-check but not if I have tons of stuff.

Y'all stay safe. I am hopeful that we get a little rain out of the storm.

Things are not as bad as I thought they would be. I made a video of my garden today.

We are doing fine. It looks like I`m losing some pepper plants but for the most part everything is OK. It got messy but nothing a quick clean up wouldn`t fix. I`m enjoying this cool weather too!!! Karen

Wow! Lots of water! I wish it would have spun a little further north and west! We got a 30 second downpour and then no more So glad y'all did not have a lot of stuff wash away or drown!
