You don't have to send the banner photo to Dave, you can now post them yourself as long as they are 1200 x 150 exactly. Go to "Site Banners", on the right hand side of the page click on "Upload a banner". nodding I just learned how to do this yesterday!! Hurray!

Hurray! Yeah!!

Tabby, whenever you have some spare time, would you mind telling me how to change the size of my photos for the banner? Do you change it in your photo program? I'll go look in mine and see what I can find out. Blinking

I know how I do it in Photoshop. It involves cropping and resizing.

Okay, I looked in my photo program and figured out how to change the pixel size to 1200 wide x 125 high but it stretches the picture so it doesn't look right... I tried cropping first but that didn't help do you know how I can fix this?

You need to keep the proportions the same. It's usually easier to start with an image at least 1200 pixels wide so it doesn't look blurry when enlarging, but if you don't have that, then you need to stretch it to 1200 x 998, and then crop off the top and bottom so it's 150 tall.

Does anyone know anything about this dark bee?
It looks different than most of the other honey bees I see around here. It's missing its orange stripe so all its stripes are black. Is it older than the other honeybees or just from a different group of bees?
It was a lot shyer than other honeybees and gave me fits trying to get a picture.
