Been planting up two boxes from Arlyn and Sue. Thanks so much! Arlyn sent enough extras to make some bodacious clumps, and I'd forgotton that Sue was going to send me a bromeliad that I'd lusted after. My heart did flip-flops when I saw that (I'm such a sucker for variegation).

Orders from growers will start coming in July.. probably only a couple weeks away now.... Whose order will come first? I probably should have asked for August delivery.. but it's like being a little kid and waiting for Christmas... I have no patience for waiting.

My Trillion bloomed this year got it in a trade two years ago.

Sherry, I have asked for the earliest ship date from the vendors. I have three that are supposed to arrive ' late June'. One early July and one vendor did not give me an option... just from July thru September. They are all small orders but I am just waiting like you said.... a kid at Christmas. And..... I cant wait to see if/what bonuses I get. !!!

I am sooooo far behind on my weeding and garden prep work that the boxes I get will all be too soon! LOL.

I will be weeding for the rest of this growing season. We are getting just enough rain to feed the weeds and vines but not enough to water the flowers. I have never seen a year like this for weeds.... and mosquitoes. I created a lot of beds for irises last fall and winter as I did not want to have to do it in a rush right now. I am glad I did because planting is very easy now. I may wind up with empty space this year.

My only order I requested to arrive in Aug. I knew I needed extra time to get the corner bed cleared and ready. I've gotten most of it done but still need to move and divide one and ship another in there.

Now, if I can get my bosses to stop calling me in for extra shifts...

Don't get me wrong, I love what I do. It's my 3rd favorite place to be. My house, the beach and the movie theater!

Someone on this forum was looking for Galdariel's Ring or something to that effect. I saw that Burgard had it for $4 and it is not sold out. Don't remember who wanted it. They are sold out of a lot of things but that one was still available. Hope someone sees this post.
