If she has a sale in August she will be selling them as an individual and not as a business. smiles

I emailed Dee because I was afraid she would send the box while I am at my nephew's wedding. She said she would be shipping mine about the 1st of July, so there must be others going out about that time too.

I still have all my vendor orders to come since I asked for late delivery (August is so scorching here). I have Stout, Napa, Burgard (again - like Dee - prices not to be missed), Blue J, Wild Iris Rows, Aitkens and International. Gads! *Blush* I am probably missing one somewhere.....

(Oh, hello paddywagon..... though I may still only need my head examined...)

See the thread "Final Tallies!" but here is that infamous chart:

Here is the "How many irises did you really order" scale

1 to 30 = Just kid stuff Smiling
31 to 50 = A good start Sticking tongue out
51 to 75 = Slightly off balance Confused
76 to 100 = On the Edge! Whistling
101 to 125 = Over the Edge Glare
126 to 150 = Pretty messed up Crying
151 to 175 = You need your head examined Grumbling
176 to 200 = Bring on the paddy wagon! Shrug!
over 200 = Men in white coats coming with strait jacket. Acorn

Glad you reposted that Leslie. According to Tom's Iris Scale I am not as bad off as I thought I was.

I got a big box from Arlyn today and am still going through it, looking up pictures. Smiling

Dave's and Bonnie's boxes fit, but now I am going to have to take another chunk out of the front lawn. I could put some out back, but it is damper and my sunny hill of a front lawn keeps rhizomes in perfect shape. Hurray! Hurray!

I am planning to order a few....few???from HIPS and some of Chuck Chapman's rebloomers for northern climates. Oh where oh where will they go? Blinking

The front garden will be a bouquet of copper labels all winter long! Rolling on the floor laughing

Linnea - I know how you feel! Where will they all go?!

Bonnie - yes, the list makes me feel a bit better too.... it is the bonus iris and mystery boxes that did me in last year!

I actually made more flower bed room anticipating swaps and bonuses. For once I have more empty garden than irises ordered. smiles

Y'all must have lots of land! Where will you put them all? I only ordered from 3 places and still have public BGIS sale and society private sale to go yet. Beginning to get worried that hubby will not start on my new bed soon enough. He says it is too hot or it's going to rain....always something.
I have not contacted the places I ordered from to see when they will ship. Just glad I am not ready for the men in white coats!

Jane, I plan my beds in the fall and start working on them then. By early spring I put the finishing touches on them. This year I created more room than I need for my orders anticipating trades and odd sales. I have garden beds just waiting for irises.

I don't have a lot of land - just 1/4 of an acre in a New England historic district, so the house and carriage house sit on a good chunk of it. On the north side, I have planted 25 arborvitae. Some are staggered to make at least a 12 foot thick and 25 foot high living wall...add 3 spruce, a bunch of Scotch pine and a little fenced in area for dogs to potty...well, their ain't much left! I think I planted 92 trees thus far, but a lot of them are little boxwoods, holly, azaleas and dwarfs.

Whistling The front lawn is gone, the front lawn is gone, heigh-ho, the derry-o, the front lawn is gone!

I was lucky to get a lot of land with a cottage size house.
So I have to much space nodding and not enough flowers Blinking ..that's what I tell my husband anyway.
